DE Hylomar Gasket 2000
Hylomar Gasket 2000 is a formed in place (FIP) single component anaerobic curing flexible sealant , which cures in the joint to form a flexible plastic seal. The product is designed to replace traditional solid gaskets.
The thixotropic properties of Hylomar Gasket 2000 prevent migration of the sealant before or during curing. Once cured the compound is resistant to shock and vibration from –50°C to 150°C.
Hylomar Gasket 2000 should be applied to a clean and dry metal surface. The compound may be dispensed by hand from a cartridge or concertina packs. Automated application is also widely used via xy plotter, robot arm or via a silk screen printer. Once applied the joint should be assembled without undue delay. Any excess compound can be easily wiped off external surfaces using Hylomar Rally Wipes.
If joints are dismantled for service or repairs, the cured product can be easily removed and surfaces cleaned for fresh application by using Hylomar Gasket Remover or Hylomar Rally Wipes.
Hylomar Gasket 3400
Hylomar Gasket 3400 is a modified anaerobic curing, flexible sealant designed to become a Formed in Place (FIP) Gasket when cured. The cured compound has good temperature resistance and high resistance to fretting. The cure is initiated when the compound is in contact with metal ions and in anaerobic conditions.
The cure rate and final strength is dependent on the metals being joined and the temperature at which the component is used. The heat generated by a running engine will accelerate the cure.
Hylotyte® Red 100
Hylotyte Red 100 is a synthetic, semi-hardening jointing compound that has excellent gap filling properties. After exposure to temperature the sealant will cure to form an elastomeric seal.
Hylotyte Red 100 is resistant to:
- Water
- Salt water
- Anti-freeze
- Synthetic oils
Hylo® Clean
Hyloclean is a specially blended fluid that is highly effective at removing used Hylomar jointing compound from disassembled joint surfaces. The unique mix of solvents also make it perfect for cleaning and degreasing surfaces prior to use with any of Hylomar’s range of adhesive and sealants. Hyloclean is also very effective at removing uncured anaerobic, uncured silicone and uncured epoxy products.
Typical Applications:
- Removing Hylomar M, Universal Blue, Advanced Formula and Aerograde, uncured Hylogrip anaerobic product, Hylobond, acrylic adhesives and Hylotyte Red
- Degreasing metal components – will remove most oils, lubricating fluids, metal cuttings and dirt from any metal
surface - Hyloclean does not leave a residue and evaporates quickly after application
Hylo®Flex MS60
HYLO®FLEX MS60 is a flexible, high strength sealant and adhesive that is suitable for a wide range of applications. Unlike silicone sealants HYLO®FLEX MS60 can be painted over with most acrylic and alkyd paints and is hazard free. The product can be used indoor or outdoors for sealing and/or bonding almost any material. Shore A hardness 060º.

Hylomar® Exhaust Repair Putty
Hylomar Exhaust Repair Putty is a water based, heat curing product. It has been specifically designed for use in the repair of exhaust systems within the automotive industry. The exhaust putty formulation will withstand both pressure and temperatures typically found in vehicle exhaust systems. When heated the product cures to form a gas tight seal.
Typical Applications:
- Specifically formulated to fill small holes and cracks in exhaust systems thus delaying the need for replacement.
Hylomar® Exhaust Assembly Paste
Hylomar Exhaust Assembly Paste is a water based, heat curing product. It has been specifically designed for use with exhaust systems for automotive and other general applications. The exhaust paste formulation will withstand both pressure and temperatures typically found in vehicle exhaust systems. Hylomar Exhaust Assembly Paste lubricates joints to make assembly easier and faster.

Hyloglue
Hyloglue is a high performance cyanoacrylate adhesive which is available in a number of grades. The product is available in a variety of different viscosities and will form a strong bond to a wide range of substrates in seconds.

Hylo®Bond M511
HYLO®BOND M511 is a toughened, two component acrylic adhesive designed for bonding a wide range of substrates. This structural methacrylate adhesive has superior peel, shear and compressive properties. HYLO®BOND M511 displays high toughness and can be used on gaps up to 5mm. It has a gel time of approximately 5 minutes. The adhesive has excellent fatigue and weathering resistance.

Hylo®Bond M5101
